The Yad B’ Yad teachers strive to foster in each child a love of learning. They are experience, highly trained professionals in the field of education. Yad B’ Yad preschool is licensed by the State of Arizona.
The Syndi Scheck Yad B’ Yad preschool offers a high-quality, developmentally appropriate program to meet the needs of families with children ages 6 weeks- 5 years of age.
Infant Program: 6 weeks – 12 months of age
The infant years are a wonderful part of any child's life. These years are filled with challenges and amazing developmental achievements! Our Infant Room staff, providing care for children from 6 weeks to 12 months, are committed to providing your child a safe, stimulating and developmentally appropriate environment where your child can learn and grow.
Transition program 12 months – 18 months
Temple Emanuel’s transitional program offers a safe environment for our mobile infants to crawl and explore the world around them through appropriate materials and tactile experiences.
Toddler Program 18 months- 33 months
Toddlers build nurturing relationships with teachers and friends while learning to gain independence and to cope with a new environment. Teachers work with their growing curiosity about the world by offer stimulating hands- on experiences.
Preschool Program- 3 years – 4 years
Children ages 3-4 thrive and grow when they are part of a community. They learn vital social skills that will support them and be instrumental to them throughout life. They use tools, equipment and symbols to refine their understanding of the world around them. With each day, they refine their independence.
Pre-Kindergarten Program: 4- years- 5 years
Children in our Pre-K program continue to foster independence as they learn more about the world around them as well as begin to look at the world academically while still in a play- based environment. This program allows children to strengthen their relationships and work cooperatively.
Early Drop-off, Enrichment and Extended Day Programs
Mixed-age grouping supports children in separating from parents and building self-help skills and independence. Younger children benefit from learning from older classmates. Extended care is available from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
