Lunch and Learn

Every third Thursday of the month, bring your own vegetarian lunch, and we will provide coffee, dessert, discussion and fun! Please check the master calendar to confirm the schedule.

Torah Study

It's the longest on-going discussion in human history - and here's your chance to join the conversation. Each week, the group reads, discusses and learns from sacred Jewish text. No Hebrew is required - everyone is welcome to join. Whether you come once or attend regularly, we invite you to experience cornerstone Jewish texts for yourself, along with an engaging and welcoming group of adult learners.

Meetings: Thursdays 7:15 - 8:15 PM

Non-members welcome.

Discovering Judaism: The Study of Judaism: An eye-opening, wide-ranging, and thoughtful adventure.

Join us for a seven-month class for adults presenting an overview of Judaism, the faith and civilization of the Jewish People. Judaism is at once ancient and modern, a meshing of idea and action. Using both sacred and secondary sources, you will be exposed to the breadth of Jewish thought, belief & practice.

Discovering Judaism is ideal for non-Jews engaged or married to Jews wishing to learn more about Jewish culture, non-Jews considering conversion to Judaism, and Jews looking to amplify what they learned about Judaism as children. We’ll explore Life Cycle (events and rituals), the Holidays, Jewish History, Jewish Prayer, Torah, Talmud and Sacred Texts, Israel, Ethics, and much more.

Non-members welcome.

Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah

There are lots of Jewish adults who never became bar or bat mitzvah for any number of reasons. If that describes you, and you want to reach this milestone in Jewish life, make this your year.

Rabbi Dean and Rabbi Jason will teach six Sunday afternoon sessions for adults interested in becoming a bar or bat mitzvah. Along with individual study on a topic that interests you, we’ll help you prepare to read Torah and lead the congregation. It’s a wonderful, social experience, and a big accomplishment.
