Judaica Shop  

Temple Emanuel is home to the primary Judaica shop in the Easy Valley. Join a staff of volunteers and help out at the holidays or on a weekly basis. It's a wonderful way to meet other temple members, give back to the community, or stay busy while kids are in religious school.

Hours: Temple business hours and religious school hours. 30 minutes prior to Friday night services.

Temple membership required for volunteers. Shop is open to everyone.

Religious Service Greeters  

A warm welcome makes such a difference. Volunteer to greet congregants and potential new members upon arrival to Shabbat services. You also can volunteer at the Temple and celebrate with congregants by sponsoring a nosh before one of our services, or an oneg afterwards.

Urban Outreach - Faithful Friends  

Urban Outreach Faithful Friends

What is the Urban Outreach Faithful Friends program?

Mission:
To connect selected Urban Outreach homeless guests to at least one faith community member (Faithful Friend), who is committed to assisting this guest in moving towards and attaining stable housing and self-sufficiency.

Vision: Urban Outreach Faith Friends serve as mentors, educators and advocates for vulnerable homeles men or women. Our relational approach moves homeless men and women from crisis towards self-sufficiency.

Values: With mutual respect, compassion and focused effort, participants' lives are enriched and transformed.

Volunteer Qualifications: Kind, compassionate, honest, open-minded, personable, patient
