Camaraderie, fellowship and fun with the guys are what Men of Emanuel is all about. The men's club provides our male members with social, service, and religious activities, always with Jewish values in mind. Come join us for one of our well known poker tournaments, a sporting event, a fundraiser for a charitable cause, a congregational brunch or a MOE membership meeting at a local restaurant. MOE is our Temple's way to meet and bond with other Emanuel men.

A Chavurah is a small group of Temple families (5 to 10) who gather together to socialize, celebrate holidays and build friendships. The chavurah committee helps new and existing members to organize and create their own chavurot, as well as plan the Annual Social at the Temple.
Meetings: The committee meets twice a year. Individual Chavurot generally meet once a month in member homes.
If you're a senior looking for fellowship, fun and Jewish learning, this vibrant group is for you. Meetings include movies, speakers, and lunches as well as a monthly discussions with the Rabbi. All seniors are welcome to attend.

This group is for women to come together to try and make a difference in the community at large by discussing and getting involved with agencies that are in need of assistance.

Combine your love of theatre with your love of Judaism. As a member of this amateur theatre group, take part in acting classes and help bring Jewish holidays to life through special performances. The group also stages one major show a year with costumes, sets and lights.

This committee is a wonderful opportunity for women, ages 21 and up, to put their talent, time and gifts to work for a variety of causes. Discover new avenues to shine, and achieve, and enjoy fellowship among other contemporary Jewish women.
We start with the lighting of the twisted Havdalah candle. After a brief, it's time to enjoy an edgy foreign film - usually Israeli - with an adult theme. Everyone 21 and older is welcome to join us for some twisted fun.

Join us each month for a discussion on a new book with a Jewish theme or connection. Books vary from fiction to non-fiction, but the discussions are always fun and interesting.
Meetings: 1st Thursday of the month 7:00 PM. Sept - May. Book selection in June.
If you love to knit, crochet, or needlepoint - or would love to learn how - then join our Temple group. Our projects include knitting hats for the homeless, or prayer shawls. Our informal group gathers every Tuesday at 10:00. Bring your own yarn craft to work on and enjoy a good gab that often extends to lunch out.
